Our Story

Gadfly Educational Consulting Services (ECS) was created to disrupt the status quo in the education system through its three-fold purpose, also called the “3E Initiative.” Gadfly ECS will:

  • EDUCATE: Educate educators about empirically supported and best practices in positive behavioral supports, mental health, and how to create equitable learning environments.

  • ENGAGE: Engage educators, administrators, and parents to create an academically rigorous, behaviorally appropriate, and safe learning environment.

  • EMPOWER: Empower educators with the tools
to assist in their ability to optimize their own
health and wellness as they educate and
    support students.

Gadfly (n.)

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., in his "Letter from Birmingham Jail," described the need for “nonviolent gadflies” — catalysts who disrupt complacency, provoke reflection, push society forward, and inspire action for justice. At Gadfly Educational Consulting Services, we embrace that spirit in education. We challenge the status quo, ignite meaningful dialogue, and spark innovation.

Through our 3E Initiative, we equip educators with evidence-based practices and wellness tools, and we engage parents with the knowledge and resources they need to support their children. Together, we cultivate equitable, enriching, and thriving learning communities where every student can succeed.
